Diseases like obesity, cardiac problems, diabetics, high blood pressure, etc can lead one to start their fitness regime with all the enthusiasm in the world which ends up lasting for a couple of months or even less as we start losing interest and find excuses for not getting into a regular physical exercise program.

Lifestyle changes:

  1. Skipping breakfast is a straight no-no, don’t even think of it 🙂 
  2. Stop eating junk food and drinking carbonated drinks
  3. Keep your self hydrated, have a good amount of water daily.

You are not too old for sports: Get into playing regular games: Playing games like basketball, baseball, cricket, football, tennis, volleyball, etc. 

Practice Martial Arts: You may even learn and practice Karate, Tai chi, Tae Kwon Do, etc. to gain flexibility and develop core muscles.

Be active: Avoid lifts and start opting for stairs, don’t sit for too long, ensure you walk daily for a minimum of 30 minutes.
